The internet connection in our apartment is sketchy at best, so I thought I would try using an offline blogging client. Nothing is worse than having a post just .. about .. finished……..and then the internet crashes. BLARGH!
I googled around a little and Ecto seemed like a good bet for mac. Just downloaded it and am testing it out. So far it seems pretty nifty, and I think I’ll keep using it for a while to see if it’s a keeper.
One observation so far though; inserting photos proved to be a bit of a treasure hunt given that the Import Media button only lets you select images from iPhoto or Photo Booth. Once I found the insert picture button on the regular editing toolbar though, we were in business.
